Looking For A Job In The UAE

If you recently graduated from college and completed your undergraduate degree, you might want to consider looking for a job in the UAE. The sheer amount of development that is being done presently, will offer you with plenty of job opportunities that you can seek out.


Often times, many foreign companies in the UAE will be willing to hire other foreigners who are well versed in the English language, to help them with marketing their business. You may have a hard time getting into the local firms however, unless you speak the Arabic language quite fluently as this is a common requirement if you will be marketing their products locally. Some foreign companies may be willing to hire even fresh graduates with little to no work experience and offer a decent wage.

Civil Engineers

If you completed a civil engineering degree, you might want to look for jobs in some of the more industrial areas such as Dubai. You should be on the lookout for new housing projects in Dubai and the companies that are undertaking these jobs and start sending them your resume. They may look for engineers who are well qualified in the field, but may also require that you have some previous work experience. You could however start out as an intern and then work from there.

Computer Science

For all the computer science graduates, you could look in some of the IT firms that are in the more developed areas such as Dubai or Sharjah. If you can’t contact these companies directly, then join their social group page such as Facebook group which may list some of the new projects announced in Dubai or anywhere else for that matter. Apart from simply computer science, they may also seek to hire electronics engineers or network administrators who possess the necessary qualifications. Since the UAE is a technically advanced country, you will need to be up to date with the latest in technology in order to cope up with the work.

Electrical Engineer

Probably one of the most sought after recruits in most companies around the world, electrical engineers will not have a hard time looking for a job in the UAE. There is more than likely going to be plenty of manufacturing firms or companies that deal with selling electrical products, who may seek to hire electrical engineers. However, there is more than likely going to be some form of work experience required.
